1.In a large non-metallic bowl, combine mixed fruit, orange juice and orange liqueur. Set aside, covered, overnight.
2.In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar together until pale and creamy.
3.Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Fold in sifted plain flour, mixed fruit and liquid, chopped unsalted macadamias and dark chocolate.
