Baked bean sloppy joes
If you love a cooked breakfast on the weekend, then tuck into bacon, baked beans and melted cheese on toasted muffins. Yum!

Baked bean sloppy joes
- 4 english muffins, halved
- 8 slice tasty cheese
- 4 rashers rindless bacon, fried until crisp
- 420 gram can baked beans
Method
Baked bean sloppy joes
- 1Preheat grill to high. Line a grill plate with foil.
- 2Arrange open muffins on grill tray. Toast for 1 minute or until golden.
- 3Place a cheese slice on each muffin half. Grill for 1 minute or until melted.
- 4Meanwhile, fry bacon in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes of until crisp. Transfer to a plate. Heat beans in the same pan on medium heat for 2 minutes or until heated.
- 5Arrange muffins on serving plates. Top with beans and bacon.
Notes
This also makes a delicious filling for a toasted sandwich.
