Ingredients

Method

1.Preheat a sandwich press.
2.Heat a small oiled frying pan over high heat. Add bacon to pan; cook and stir for 3 minutes or until crisp. Drain on paper towel.
3.Spread half the bread slices with barbecue sauce. Top with baked beans. bacon and cheese. Sandwich with remaining bread. Cook jaffles in sandwich press for 4 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted. Serve.

You can use plain barbecue sauce instead of smoky-flavoured sauce, and the baked beans can be replaced with canned spaghetti. Jaffles taste best if they’re assembled just before serving.
