Apple cinnamon tarts
This gorgeous apple cinnamon tart is wonderful served warm with an apricot-jam glazed, and can be on the dinner table in no time at all.

Ingredients
Apple cinnamon tarts
- 1 large (200g) golden delicious apple
- 1 sheet ready-rolled sweet puff pastry
- 20 gram butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
- 1/4 cup (80g) apricot jam, warmed
Method
Apple cinnamon tarts
- 1Preheat the oven to hot, 220°C (200°C fan-forced).
- 2Peel, core and halve the apple. Slice apple thinly
- 3Cut the pastry sheet in half to form 2 rectangles. Place the pastry on a greased oven tray Overlap the apple slices down the centre of the pastry halves. Brush the apple with the butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
- 4Bake tarts in a hot oven for about 15 minutes or until the pastry is browned.
- 5Brush tarts with the apricot jam.

Not suitable to freeze or microwave.
