Butterscotch bananas

Butterscotch bananas
  • 45 gram butter
  • 55 gram light brown sugar
  • 4 small_piece bananas, cut into thirds
  • 1/2 cup thickened (heavy) cream
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla yogurt
  • 45 gram nougat, chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, roasted

Method

Butterscotch bananas

    Melt butter with sugar in large frying pan. Add bananas; cook, over low heat, about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until caramelised.

    Beat cream in small bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form; fold in yogurt and nougat.

    Serve bananas topped with nougat cream and sprinkled with nuts.
