Firecracker prawn tortillas

With a spicy kick, this delicious and incredibly easy firecracker prawn tortilla recipe is fantastic served with lime, chilli mayo and coriander slaw. Enjoy for a tasty family lunch or dinner!


Firecracker prawn tortillas

  • 1/2 cup egg mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 tbsp hot chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 250 g packet mini tortillas
  • 2 limes, halved
  • 1 kg prawns, peeled, deveined


  • 300 g red cabbages, finely shredded
  • 300 g green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 3 spring onions, thinly sliced


  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and chilli sauces. Set aside until ready to use.
  2. For the slaw: In a medium bowl, combine cabbage, coriander and spring onion.
  3. Preheat a char-grill pan on medium. Grill tortillas for 1 minute each side to warm. Grill limes, cut-side down, for 1 minute until grill marks appear.
  4. Drizzle prawns with olive oil and season, then char-grill for 2-3 minutes. Divide slaw between tortillas, top with prawns, and drizzle with chilli mayonnaise. Accompany with lime.
