Ingredients

Fettuccine alfredo

  • 375 g fettuccine
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 cup (250ml) extra light cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1 bunch chives, finely chopped pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup (40g) grated parmesan

Steps

Fettuccine alfredo

  1. Cook fettuccine in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water according to packet directions. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, lightly spray a frying pan with cooking oil spray and heat on medium. Cook garlic for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  3. Add cream and bring to boil. Add remaining ingredients and toss to coat. Season to taste and serve immediately.
