- 375 g packet fettuccine
- 60 g butter
- 300 ml carton light cream
- 1 1/2 cups (120g) grated parmesan
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
Steps
Easy pasta alfredo
- Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Cook pasta according to packet directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large frying pan. Stir in cream and 1 1/4 cups parmesan. Heat, stirring, 2-3 minutes, until bubbling.
- Drain pasta well. Toss through sauce with nutmeg and season to taste. Serve topped with remaining parmesan.
