  • 375 g packet fettuccine
  • 60 g butter
  • 300 ml carton light cream
  • 1 1/2 cups (120g) grated parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Steps

Easy pasta alfredo

  1. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Cook pasta according to packet directions.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large frying pan. Stir in cream and 1 1/4 cups parmesan. Heat, stirring, 2-3 minutes, until bubbling.
  3. Drain pasta well. Toss through sauce with nutmeg and season to taste. Serve topped with remaining parmesan.
