Easy to prepare, this beautiful pasta dish can be on the table in under 30 minutes. Tasty ham and fresh vegetables are tossed through perfectly cooked spaghetti with a creamy tomato sauce.

Ingredients

Creamy ham and vegetable spaghetti

  • 300 g spaghetti
  • 500 g packet frozen vegetables
  • 350 g roasted tomato pasta sauce
  • 150 ml can light evaporated milk
  • 150 g sliced honey leg ham, thinly shredded
  • 1 cup basil leaves, torn
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan, plus extra, to serve
  • bread, to serve

Steps

Creamy ham and vegetable spaghetti

  1. Cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling water according to packet instructions. Add frozen vegetables. Cook 2-3 minutes, until tender. Drain and return to pan.
  2. Reheat saucepan on medium and add remaining ingredients. Toss to combine. Season to taste. Stir 2 minutes to heat through. Serve with extra parmesan and bread, if desired.
