Ingredients

Chilli turkey parcels

  • 500 g turkey or chicken mince
  • 2 finely sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint
  • 2 tablespoons, plus extra, to serve sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 finely chopped birdseye chilli
  • 2 sheets, halved puff pastry
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • salad, to serve

Steps

Chilli turkey parcels

  1. Preheat oven to hot, 200°C. Line an oven nay with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine mince, onion, mint, sauces, garlic and chilli.
  3. Spoon quarter mince mixture onto half of each pastry rectangle, leaving a 1cm border. Brush edges with a little water. Fold pastry over filling to make a square, pressing edges together to seal. Place on tray. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake 20-25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
