Alfredo pasta sauce

A creamy pasta sauce that can turn a busy weeknight dinner into something special. You can add ham, mushroom and spinach to the pasta to give it more bulk.
Ingredients
Alfredo pasta sauce
- 80 g butter
- 300 ml cream
- 1/2 cup (40g) finely grated parmesan
Steps
Alfredo pasta sauce
- Melt butter in medium frying pan. Add cream; bring to a boil then reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until sauce reduces by half.
- Add cheese; stir over low heat about 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
