Oyster Sauce fun facts
In 1888, Mr Lee Kum Sheung created the first taste of oyster sauce after accidentally overcooking his oyster soup. The taste proved so delicious that the Lee Kum Kee brand was born and is now a best-seller all around the world. Almost a century later, inspired by China's 1972 gift to the USA of panda pair Ling-Ling and Hsing-Hsing, Lee Kum Kee launched Panda Brand Oyster Sauce and added a delightful panda icon to their label. You'll find Panda Brand Oyster Sauce at your local supermarket in two convenient sizes, so look out for the panda on their 225g and 510g bottles.

Although made from oysters, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce is not overly fishy tasting! We've rounded up some of our favourite Asian recipes that feature the delicious Panda Oyster sauce taste. At your next barbeque why not experiment with a Chinese twist with these tasty Chinese turkey kebabs, served alone or with steamed rice and Asian greens.
